the only one i can see them not doing is sunstorm..he was last in the universe line and hasent seen action since.... this does really suck though i like the classics molds so i might have to buy the botcon set which will hurt my bank balance

 

Didn't we see pics of 6" titanium sunstorm back with the first pics of WW megs and the fallen? If so it's possible we might get one in classics, assuming they continue with the line further.

Don't forget the Cybertron "Legends" Sunstorm too. :thumb

I can see Botcon making Thundercracker and one of the other coneheads from the Starscream and Ramjet molds. Don't forget, they used Energon Towline to make Ironhide and Rachet figures - so there is a history of making figures that would sell well across the board into exclusives.

The entire Botcon set is supposed to be Classics figures that should go well with the retail releases. I'm hoping for the other three seekers and perhaps a few mini bots Cybertron or Energon molds. There have been several posts on the forums giving them ideas on which molds would be perfect for different Mini bots. Maybe the other Datsun Brothers from the C-Crosswise mold.

I'd better NOT have to buy the BotCon set to get the other seekers! Esp. b/c I don't think they'll be kind enough to remold the wings and such for Dirge or Thrust.

Yeah but it's not gonna happen. Hasbro hasn't released more then four seekers at retail for any line since G1. And I doubt they'll start now. I'm really hoping that they'll continue Classics after the movie line ends, but somehow I doubt it. Really seems like they'll roll right into the "Heroes" show and toy line once the movie dies out early next year. Classics has never been put forward as anything other then a filler line by Hasbro, and no matter how many fanboys, myself included, scream for more, I don't think Hasbro will continue it.

 

However this may end up being the first Botcon set I order if they do release the rest of the Seekers and some other "Classics" style guys as the set. I'll have to see pics first of course.

Just buy some doubles, and repaint/retool to your hearts desire.

:pfx I definately think that the fans needs some luvin'! I too keep looking atSkywarp and Starscream and think that

the others are sorely missing. I need Thundercracker and the other jets. Dirge and Thrust should be among them as well.

I spent some time today, looking at Screamer and Rammy. I need to hit the store and look for the wing fan parts, other than that the conversion will be EASY. Would be awesome if the thing spun...hmmm...

 

Problem is, if they make an official one, then I kinda got stuck with my custom. It's going to take a mix of the 2 jets parts to make a decent Thrust.

 

Dirge they could get away with a simple repaint, I'd deal with the same wings, so they can do that if they want, but Thrust had the killer wings, and was the bad arse as far as I'm concerned.

 

If I was RICH, I'd get a case of em and do what ever I wanted. Make the green one, the purple one, ect...

 

Heck, I'd get the dang MP Screamer and make thrust out of that (I made the photoshop version once, looked good to me).

 

But times are tough, NJ stinks, and don't waste 2 toys and the time to create...

 

However I find it most unlikely that they will make an official Thrust to be honest. That would need totally new sets of wings. If they make repaints of each it makes sense to me that

 

Thundercracker from Screamer (Skywarp was a special case)

and Ramjet to Dirge (same wings, different color)

 

Maybe they might release the Classic Prime again in black, or maybe the Megatron gun in black? Along with another seeker or some such.

 

Still tempted to make a BUMPER also. But the Cliffjumper having Bumble's head is disturbing...want to retool...
