no, I'm addicted to buying

I think "stripping" is too strong a word, but I'm probably getting rid of some Energon stuff when I get home, like Cruellock, to make room for some of the BW 10th stuff I picked up here on the Cape. I'll also need to make room for the Titaniums I ordered.

I've widdled my collection down from 40+ down to 7.

Both versions of 10th anniversary BW Megatron.

Masterpiece Prime and 3" Titanium G1 Optimus Prime.

10th anniversary BW Optimus Primal and 3" Titanium Optimus Primal.

BWTM2 Op-Op.

After I get 6" Titanium BWTM2 Op-Op, I'm done with all of the older series. Who knows what the future will bring?

I think "Stripping" is too strong a word, I prefer "Exotic Dancing."

I'm not really, but I am letting loose a couple figs here and there, which is very uncharacteristic of me.

Last year, when I was out of work and in need of money to pay the bills I sold off a lot of stuff. Basically most of it was exclusive stuff, extras I picked up cheap in lots, extras for MISB, old Marvel figs, and eventually got to where I had sell off some of the stuff I didn't want to sell, but oh well.

The nice thing about being addicted to TF's is that if you find yourself in financial difficulties, then it's pretty easy to sell off some of the things that ended up in storage bins with little or no hope of ever being taken out again...at least not anytime soon.

My hobby, my addiction, helped save my ass for quite some time. When I started working my collection began to quickly grow again. I still haven't gone back to re-aquire any of what I sold, keeping up with the new stuff is plenty enough. I also added ML into the mix, so now all my storage space is even overflowing.

I may have to consider moving my stored figures into a storage facitlity. Lucky for me there's one like 2 blocks from me.

Hopefully, I won't have to worry about selling anything again anytime in the near future, I love my collection too much and there's really nothing I have right now that I would want to part with.

A year from now, I see myself having a bunch of Classics, movie toys, and Takara PVCs, and probably nothing else.

I'm selling a few things right now. Probably putting them on e-bay soon only to get some extra money for start-up capital for making my first comic or graghic novel and school... and also for making room for my Classics. Geez I love those guys.

Erk... my only attempt at "culling" my collection was selling off:

* Energon Optimus Prime (because I have Grand Convoy anyway) - successfully sold

* Energon Megatron (again, I have the Super Link version, which I prefer) - sucessfully sold

* reissue Rollbar - not sold... nobody seems interested in this toy at all!

* BW Scorponok (damaged Cyberbee launcher, but still ideal as a display piece for those who don't play w/ their toys) - was successfully auctioned but winning bidder never paid me, so I never sent the toy out. :/

Other than that, the only thing in my collection that I would currently consider selling would be a MOSC RiD Armourhide... but I doubt that would be worth much, so I think I'll sit on that for a few more years and see what I get for it later. ;p Anything in my collection that's actually worth something I don't want to part with!

I've never been in the situation where I've had to hock off my collection and re-acquire it later. If I'm in a financial fix, I'll find other ways. I would have to be on the verge of becoming homeless to sell off my collection... (-_-)
