Classics extras

Recommended Posts

I was messing around with the new classic figs and noticed that Rodimus has his cutting blade hidden in his left arm. Also on starscream, he has no landing gear but the chest turbines flip out to become wheels. Cool stuff!

I think that's his communication disc or something. If you look at the back of the packaging it mentions it (at least the one they had a Botcon did).

looks like a saw thou

Yeah, it says communicator, but it's his buzzsaw, pure and simple. Also, the thing about Starscream, I'd have never known if someone over at TFW hadn't spilled the beans.

Plus, Hot Rod's waist pulls forward and locks into place in robot mode. This and 'Screamer's wheels are completely omitted. Why??

(O_o) zOMG! You're right!! Stupid Hasbro and their false labelling!!

yeah i must have done that by accident because when i went to TF him back the first time, i was like, "it's not fitting together" then i pushed on the waist :tflaugh silly hasbro

I really don't see them as extras... Since most noticed these after the first transformation.

Prime Jets on!

I was toying around with Prime and I realized that if you put the smaller gun in the pegs for the over-the-shoulders cannons as in the directions but opposite direction, then they make a decent jetpack....especially if you leave the nose of the larger gun sticking out.

Then it makes some sense of the panels on his forearms because they actually look like wings to help him direct where he is going. It is almost like this was intentional.

Aside from Primal having a jetpack (because Prime is not Primal), Optimus did have a jetpack on the HBS-02 as well as on the TRU Apex Armor (because Ginrai isn't Prime either). So Prime with a jet pack does kind of make sense.

:tflaugh I tried that.
