Who is the genric bot that hotrod is fighting with on the shuttle during TFM? He also appears in the comic right before primal scream and is blasted.

He's a training droid... that is never seen again.

yeah, a training droid whos a jerk.

"MEEEEEEERRRRRHHH!!! Time out TIME out TIME OUT!!!"

"MEEEEEEERRRRRHHH!!! Time out TIME out TIME OUT!!!"

You know he deserved that beating he would have got, still probably left on Quintessa, stranded, like a chump.

I really liked Hot Rod's training saber and shield in that scene. Too bad the rest of the scene started the downfall of the Dinobots to me.

I don't recall any TFs in US#61 that looked like the training droid - the only two generic looking TFs that get wasted is that Decepticon with the green body and orange head who gets blown apart, and the Autobot who gets nonchalantly decapitated by Bludgeon when the Decepticons infiltrate Autobase. Neither of them look like the training droid to me.

was that in 61 or 60? I just read 61, and none of that happened.

EDIT: yup, 60. good call on the events though!

I really disliked that (filler) scene because it reeked of a Star Wars ripoff. I know they wanted to show Hot Rod “maturing but please try to be original.

What I would have showen instead :schin

Perhaps Hot Rod checking out Fembots on the ships computer ala Octane in Starscream's Ghost.

After what Hot Rod was saying to Kup about telling stories and his attitude during the attack on Autobot City, I wasn't surprised to see that Hot Rod knocked out Luke and stole his lightsaber.
