In 2 years MP 03 will be 150-200 on ebay (roughly the price of swerve lately) and everyone will be complaining about the gouging. Do youself a favor and buy it now...

Nah, if it were perfect, I would have pre-ordered it already. The colors are just not right, and I don't mean it should be G1 toy accurate, just a modernized color scheme. The jet should have been light gray and the reds and blues should have been a little brighter. Then there's the fact that we've yet to see in the box pictures, preventing me from accurately know just what MP SS comes with.

I still don't understand why they used that color gray. It isn't realistic and in fact many people have pointed out that the original G1 SS color would have been both realistic and a great homage, so I just don't get that deco selection.

I am shocked that there are no in-box pics or even any auctions yet. I really hope there isn't a delay and that is why we haven't seen anything. We have seen so many pics at numerous expos that I would be surprised if it was delayed though. Just a few more weeks to know for sure.

Interesting theory. I predict that within 2 years time Hasbro will have released a domestic version of this figure, Takomy will be doing an "anime" version, and MP-03 will be remembered as a major misstep.

And to Goki, not everyone can afford to buy toys in bulk :tftongue

i mean how is it cheaper to buy more than one :tflaugh no matter what the discount for 2 of them is.

You have to either do a "group buy" them or resell them.

pdemaio is right. I group buy with friends. It's like kinda like car-pooling. ;)

I had no idea this was going to be tiny. No way is the price justified. So i'll wait untill a yank version, or I'll give it a miss. Not paying £70 for something this small, regardless of metal bits or not.

Collecting transformers is killing my wallet as it is. This is not worthy of the price. For his I can buy many regular ones that are worth what they cost ;)

I too think the price is a little high because of the fact that Star Scream is smaller the MP Prime. I have no idea why Takara did that but whatever. I will wait for the U.S version to hit the shelves. But I'm happy that Takara is releasing a MP Star Scream. Now maybe Megatron is next?

I hope Hasbro mentions something at Botcon. A $50 Starscream would be sweet.
