I think the main point of this discussion is being lost. For the most part, its not the fact its ero-kawa, or, to a small degree, the depiction of an arguably underaged girl. I see this stuff all the time in Japan. Its part of life here. However, there ARE places and areas of Japanese life that ARE NOT part of the SPAM thing.

 

I think transformers should remain not part of that. At least not officially. If you ever gone to something like Wonderfestival and had a look around at some of the sick stuff thats out on display there, and on the type of Japanese Otaku that are the ones mainly really "into" said sick stuff, then you can realize there are other nerds, otaku etc who are not really into the SPAM scene and dont like those that do.
