Same here. I like toys and action packed movies. Popcorn?

you know, i think the movie folks should just let everything out of the bag. just show the fans everything they've done so as to get it over with.

But, what fun would that be over the next year? :tflaugh

CGI for films is usually rendered at about 1.4–6 megapixels. Toy Story, for example, was rendered at 1536 × 922 (1.42MP). The time to render one frame is typically around 2–3 hours, with ten times that for the most complex scenes. This time hasn't changed much in the last decade, as image quality has progressed at the same rate as improvements in hardware, since with faster machines, more and more complexity becomes feasible. Exponential increases in GPUs processing power, as well as massive increases in parallel CPU power, storage and memory speed and size have greatly increased CGI's potential.

so yea... i'm sure that within a year they're going to do COMPLETELY NEW animation...

I actually do have a Bachelor's in Film from The University

of Central Florida.

Don't think I'm an expert, as such. 'Specially when That degree and 75 cents

would buy me a cup of coffee....

My ex-girlfriend has a degree in Computer Animation from Full Sail in Orlando...

All of these things are inconsequential to the fact that what I posted

was, decidedly, a supposition. Yet a supposition based on numerous

factual criteria....

Such as: Length of Post-production time on the average movie, length

of PP on a full blown CGI movie (ala Pixar), etc...

Considering the typical Star Wars movie takes at least 2 years of post-production

should give an indication of how long this movie should take.

Still, I am not an "expert", as you so eloquently stated.

Why ya gots ta hate the new kid, Maxi?

Kal :tfsad

does our Starscreaming still surprise them? thats cute.
