You guys who ordered by phone - aren't you worried that your name, credit card number, expiration date, and 3/4-digit verification code are written on a piece of paper, laying on some desk, where a janitor or someone noticed it last night while cleaning up?

One would hope they had a slightly more sophisticated system than that.

I've worked in call centers and there are procedures for 'going manual' on paper when the database is down- and those papers get turned in to supervisors, who keep them secure until they can be entered.

pff - Credit cards are the safest form of transaction. ALL credit cards have policys against fraud. If someone does use it illeagally it's a federal offfense, and you as a customer are quite well protected. IE- you don't have to pay it back.

Well, I'm prepared today.  Got me a hoagie, bottle of water, and my kidneys are freshly tapped.

24 hours is enough time to prepare a statement for a problem like this, if not fix it outright... don'tcha think?

Someone once went into my boss's office at a SECURED defense contractor facility in the middle of the day, went through his briefcase, and stole his credit cards.  He made charges to it later that day.

Did anybody try to order any thing else so we can confirm a datebase issue or an Alt NP issue?

It's just NP.  Which makes me think there's no technical error at all; it simply doesn't make sense.  If they never got any, fine... TELL US!  It takes two seconds to add a line of text to a web page.  As it stands right now it's like they're ignoring it and hoping we go away.

Hasbro is so clueless about the wants and demands of its customers.  Next thing you know, we'll see a re-launch of Action Masters.
