Alternator Megatron????

Recommended Posts

What if it is in the Alt line but the scale is smaller to match up with other Alts?  I would not have any problems with that.

That is what I don't want.

:pfx

Rather either MP or for the movie.

Ok, looking at this drawing and then again at the tank pictured in the movie photo thread, I'm thinking that there is a SLIGHT possibility that this megs is movie megs. BUT DON'T QUOTE ME :P Of course the colors are different and stuff but what do you think?

I'm really really not thinking that this is Movie Megatron at all. It doesn't look anything like the TFs that Bay described. This still has the traditional blocky G1 look, which they are going to be avoiding. Plus it's obviously a toy design, not a movie character design. And all the VERY SPECIFIC G1 Megatron parts on him make me think that this is (if it's real) an Alternator or something similar. Hasbro is a lot more conservative regarding TF design than the movie people will be.

*hopes shattered* :grr

That not even a countries military tank.... I don't remember any country having a tank like that... unless its a variation on the French MBT the LeClare?

But if that's the alternators Megatron.... I so what that... I like how the figure transforms different from the Gen2 version too cool.

honestly, i think it's possibly a concept for the classics line that got cut... and replaced with nerf megs

EDIT

OH OH OH OH, MAYBE THEY'RE DOING NEO G2 ALSO!! :-P

Looks good. Really hope this either an Alt the size of 20th Prime or a very realistic looking movie toy. In either case, I will use it as a Megs to fight my MP Prime.

If 40cm is accurate, that's taller than Prime More like Metroplex or Supreme Scream.

Maybe it's the design for Titanium megs that got scrapped :grr

but i think it's probably an early concept of movie megs that some douche tossed in the trash.

What makes me not think this is not a Movie sketch is the fact that this is the format Hasbor uses for Finished Toy products.

Then again, I dont expect the Movie toys to be 100% accurate to the movie images. Basically because it's imposible. The movie's bots are supposed to be all realistic with exposed circuitry and what not. The real toys will use as less parts as possible.

I seriously doubt that this design would get scrapped. Its a no-brainer that it'll sell like 99 cent a gallon gas.
