I was talking about Bubble Pack White box Alternator. None of them are holding weapons in their hands except Camshaft. All the red and blue box have weapons displayed. Hey, I just realized all the boxes have been Red White or Blue.

^ had noticed. Also just realized I will have a spare Alt Prime head. Think I'll repaint the extra Prime head in the right colors and give that to Camshaft.

Started thinking. We're getting Camshaft, twhat are the chances we'll see the other two as well? Habro could make a real easy Overdrive: take a red Mazda (preferably the shockblast car mold with Meister's arms), paint the arms and legs silver, put on windcharger's head, and voila: Overdrive. (would of course mean I'll loose another alt repaint idea.)

 

We already got three Corvette's but else that would be a good (robot) mold to make Downshift from.

I dont have an issue with molds being reused but if this is gonna be a line featuring Mostly G1 Autobots, it would be nice if the character fit the mold or had some what of the same G1 appearance. There are dozens of other characters that Prowl could have been besides Camshaft. Since they are trying to sell G1 homages, some of the decision dont make since to us. Probably because we're not allowed to sit in on any of the meeting. I'd love to know why Windcharger wasn't the Mustang and why they put his head on the S2000. Why Overdrive was named Windcharger, Wheeljack became the Mustang, Rico is the Subaru when he looked like Jazz's twin in G1, Why Trailbreaker keeps getting passed up, Prowl instead of Red alert, Camshaft instead of any one else, why it looks like Rumble doesn't have hands......

Does anyone else think this may look a lot more Camshaft-y if one were to slap on a spare Grimlock's noggin?  That is, if you have a spare (which I don't).  Camshaft basically had Prime's head, but Grimlock's Alternator head sculpt is pretty prime-like as well, and I feel like Alt Prime's actual head may be too large for this body.

You make good points. Many of Hasbro's decisions make little or no sense to the collector, and I really don't see how they would make sense when marketing to kids either. It would have been easy to make Rico into the RX-8 I would think. Same deal w/ Red alert into the Subaru. Why do they have to change things simply to change them when it would obviously make the collectors happy to do things a certain way, and the kids wouldn't know the difference anyway. (bring it Madhammer :D ).

 

Frankly, I am not sure why Hasbro does a lot of the things that they do.

all I need is a alt grimlock head  and a dremel and I can have a better camshaft

 

of course the original was Blot to begin with

his horns are crooked.  I hope they fix that for the general release.

Not too sure about that.  Prime isn't that much taller than Prowl.
