Alternators Camshaft Revealed

Recommended Posts

^ had noticed. Also just realized I will have a spare Alt Prime head. Think I'll repaint the extra Prime head in the right colors and give that to Camshaft.

i thought i could have (buy) prime's head.

Got two alt Prime's en route and neither's going to be Prime so I've got two of those heads: one will go to camshaft (assuming it'll fit) the other is the one I promised you :thumb

Started thinking. We're getting Camshaft, twhat are the chances we'll see the other two as well? Habro could make a real easy Overdrive: take a red Mazda (preferably the shockblast car mold with Meister's arms), paint the arms and legs silver, put on windcharger's head, and voila: Overdrive. (would of course mean I'll loose another alt repaint idea.)

We already got three Corvette's but else that would be a good (robot) mold to make Downshift from.

is there a difference between the molds? (except head and left hand).

The car molds are somewhat different. Comparing Shockblast to Meister, you can see the following differences (taken from bwtf):

- The front end of the car is different. The vents there reach a bit lower to the ground and look more like one solid piece with no additional details other than the cross-hatch pattern.

- A spoiler has been added to the back.

- On the rear of the vehicle, a piece has been added that covers the muffler more and reaches to the ground slightly lower.

The end result is that Shockblast looks more sporty in car mode.

indeed, thx man.

*wishes he had shockblast*

*or meister...*

Im finally happy with Easynet. Multiple packaging pics and multiple vehicle mode and robot mode pics on the same day. Wow! Dont stop this trend.

Im buying Bluestreak just to let folks know.

This gets a big fat MEH from me...not because of the colors, but mainly because of the lack of A NEW HEAD. We already have Silverstreak, who's supposed to be Bluestreak :roll

I mean, put any other Alt. head on it and it would've been more original than this.

I Like It :redface

:tfdance

As do I. Nothing to be ashamed of there IMO. :thumb

Did some thinking though. Wasn't Silverstrack originally supposed to be Bluestreak? What was the deal with the name change anyway?

Also this would've been great for Red alert but seeing as everything is the same as Prowl that would've felt pretty redundant.

A new head mold I agree would be nice and the original second releases are easily far and beyond this but hey, it's Hasbro what else do you expect.

So aside from Battle Ravage this makes three alts I'm definitely wanting to get yet. Unless the Q/C comes up as absolute second rate k/o crap I'll probably get em.

And that was back when we may have actually even looked forward to a remold/recolor, ie when they put some damn effort into things!!!

Why can't they just continue the trend of making the first "plain" release into an Autobot and then following it up w/ a 2nd "racing" release (that obviously has been remolded) into a Decepticon? I would have no problem w/ that, but these lazy ass recolors into figures no one cares about??? They do want to actually sell these toys right???

I believe Hasbro lost the rights to the name "Bluestreak" a few years back.  Rather than use the name "Autobot Bluestreak" for the G1 reissues, they went with Silverstreak.
