Rare Cybertron Figures?

May 21, 200620 yr

Around here it looks like Soundwave and Shortround are the rare ones... Metroplex is out here now, and most of the early releases have been repacked into the B1G1F packs now.

From the older ones, I'd say Swerve (only saw 2), Downshift (1) CD Hot Shot (2).

The only figures I would truely consider rare (who haven't JUST started to appear in the past month or two) would be Swerve and Scrapmetal.

For some reason, those two seem to be brisk sellers, I didn't find Swerve until April and while coming across Scrapmetal in March, I have only seen the two of them once since.

But, I don't consider any one Cybertron figure to be truely rare, anything out will be shipping for some time (Downshift and the repaints will be shipped into the fall). Although, Brimstone is not as prevalent as he once was

It should also be noted that Hasbro Toy Shop has nearly ALL the deluxes (minus Snarl, Thunderblast, Brimstone and the newly released repaints) for retail price plus shipping

Just saw pretty much everything that has been listed as rare, except of course for the ones I am actually looking for, Wing Saber and Metroplex. Oh well, one of these days...

Actually has anyone seen Snarl around at all? I recall only finding him once and not nabbing him...have never seen him since. :tfmad

Snarl was a notable peg warmer here, to be honest, and it wasn't until the past couple months did Walmart finally start to move him out.

I saw one about two weeks ago. I seriously thought about getting him b/c when I first saw him months ago I skipped him, but since then, I have seen the show and have a greater like for all of the show characters. I did pass again though, but I might not if I ever saw him again.

Last I checked Snarl was at the local Walmart here. Him and about three Blurs, as well as other Armada retools. Normally they don't get more than one of each but at the rate these things move it'll probably be a good couple of months before either sell.

I'd be happy to ship you one if you want.
