You didn't really stick those Downshift figures in the fish tank did you?

His homage is to my fav character Wheeljack.

I can't get the first one to load.

AWESOME nod to the Dead Alewives skit.

Hell yeah!

Nah, I just placed them behind the fish tank and relied on the fact that cameras have very poor depth perception (compared to the human eye). :D

That Micromaster is really there though. Don't fret, it's only a KO. ;p

Unfortunately for Downshift(s), Wheeljack(s) don't like posers. :P

DarkNarco: if you're having trouble loading the GeoCities ones, it probably means that the bandwidth for that site has been exceeded, so just try again later.

Love the fishtank part.  And its true that poor Downshift has been nothing but a poorly done Wheeljack homage for the last two lines.  They need to give him his own life again instead of trying to him these identity issuse.

Oh.  Ok.

As for the posers, I don't like them either, but as far as an articulated character with a head and vehcile mode and colors similar to G1 Wheeljack, e. Downshift is the closest I'm going to get, unless the release him in the G1 Neo line :)

No... the closest thing to a G1 Wheeljack is, surprisingly, G1 Wheeljack! :D

He's been reissued. Twice.

Original - MISB

Original - Loose mint w/ box

Reissue - opened mint w/ box

As best as I can, yeah. In translating anything I had to change some things to make them fit. For example, whereas in the English version Ultra Magnus says "Form Blazing Sword," - this would make no sense to Japanese readers, as Voltron is an American concept, not Japanese - so in the Japanese version I've translated him as saying, "Go Juu-ou-ken! (Ten Beast Sword)" -- which was the name of Lion Voltron's sword in the original Japanese series "Hyaku-Juu-Ou Go Lion" (Hundred Beast King Go Lion).

Some stuff I changed because I just don't know how to translate it well... for example, I've never role-played in Japanese, so I don't really know how to say "you rolled a 1" in Japanese... I know the word for "roll," but there's possibly a different verb when referring to rolling dice as opposed to rolling a ball (do you say "roll" or "throw"). Also, I have no idea which collective counter noun to add after the 1 -- in Japanese (and Chinese) you always have to add a quantitative counter after a number. So in my Japanese version, Ax/Scorpion just says, "You lost again" - implying the fact that Dinobot has always been a loser/lamer... which he was in the Dead Alewives skit. ;)
