K, I know its not Transformers. I do have a point to make and I think most TF fans would really dig this. Its awesome. Must suck to get your ass kicked by an 11 yo kid like that:

What if in the future we all owned and/or built our own RC-Transformers? We could all go to BotCon with our little robo-buddies ready to go at it. I am dreaming, but this video seems to make it plausable.

The Gundam Piliot's a noob.

Wow, i'm not even sure what to say to this.  I can't decide whether i should like this or ridicule this.   :tfhuh

On a side note, did anyone else find it odd that the kids who control the RC-robots have to cosplay roles as the pilots of the robots from the series they're from?  I wonder if that's a clause in the contract to be able to compete in the tournament?  :tflaugh

sweet, and its no small wonder why japan is beating the crap out of america in robotic techology.  If that is the kind of stuff that their kids are messing around with(I'm sure with dads help though)

you are talking about japan.... i'd assume that the kids cosplay because they want to, there are theaters that give you discounts if you cosplay o_O

I like how the Gundam had voices clipped and cropped from the original Amura Rei's voice actor. :P

That kid was cute. I liked his frankness in saying 「絶対。 ("I will absolutely win.") - and the Gundam pilot's angered response of 「絶対負る ("You will absolutely lose!") - followed by the host and audience's quick reaction against him raising his voice at a child... though it was clearly in jest. :P

I also liked the original theme songs that they played in the background too, eheheh.

Funny stuff. Japanese TV rocks. :)

I was gonna say, "BAAAAH! Not Transfomas!!!" But that has got to be one of the coolest and scariest things I have ever seen in my life. Scary because of the potential destructive technology that is already out there. Battle Bots seems like a CaveMan show compared to this. Of course the Battle Bots could smash these guys to bits.

On the other hand, I get the feeling that even Gundam Guy doesn't take himself very seriously.

I mean, how CAN you when you're dressed up as a sci-fi pilot in a TV Studio?

I would say the most amazing thing about this is.... that the Mazinger is controlled by a body suit! Did you see? That kid isn't using a control like the Gundam guy did. They showed that scene with him swinging his arms and the robot matched his movements!
