Other: Actionmasters. Looked cool but were completelt "off-topic" with what Transformers were meant to be: shape-shifting figures. It was like having a Heavy Metal band playing acoustic all the time!  :tfmad

Head Masters. Once you lose the Head, Game Over, This toy sucks *trash'D*

When I lost HiQ, that wasn't such a big deal.

thats just what i was going to say

One of the worst lines was the Action Masters but I do not really know if it was a gimmick seeing the Transformers did not do anything.

One the worst gimmick is the G2 Powermasters. The gimmick in itself was cool but done a few times before (Throttlebots) and these Transformers had barely any (if any at all) articulation.

I cannot think of any worse gimmick at the moment.

Why would you lose the head of an Headmaster in the first place? A child, maybe, but an adult?? It's one of the best gimmicks ever. Head/pilot rocks.

I would have chosen a lot of the options.  I thought the Mini Con gimmick wasn't used very well, the Energon Powerlink and Stars gimmick was very poor, deluxe Energon Prime combining with himself, not one to see after eating.  The Force Chips gimmick is pretty poor so far, once the gimmick is unlocked, some can be easily done without the Force Chip, then the chip is useless.

I also have to agree that a lot of the Prime combining with his parts/others gimmicks are usually pretty poor with the exception of GF/Cyb Prime who looks good combined with his back parts.  Also I hate the electronic sounds that a lot of TF's get.  They should just leave out a lot of those electronics and make the toy itself more appealing for kids.

Tony.

You're completely missing the point man : YOU ARE NOT THE TARGET MARKET. Wake up. Kids love sounds (and gimmicks), no matter how unreleastic or annoying they are.

Other - Optimus Prime combining with another bot/a drone/last week's spaghetti.

I had to vote other just to re-inforce my complete and utter agreement of the above statement.

mutants. i mean come on, no bot mode? chips i can live with, the rest is pretty much old school so i always liked. powerlinxing is way up there though. so many figures in that line suffered due to that crap. it was a good idea, but poorly executed.

mutants. i mean come on, no bot mode?

Not one for the G1 Cassettes, are you?

they served a purpose. and they didnt go from beast mode to another beast mode. the mutants sucked in both their beastmodes imo. aside from noble. but he cheated cuz his wings come off.
