Least Wanted G1 Re-Issue

It's not that I don't like them, just that it would drive me to criminal acts to see those on the shelf. and can you imagine what they would cost...?

I have Trypticon and Metroplex, and my shelves are a mess. They're not even shelves, really. Just boards big enough to hold those guys and the rest of my collection.

Not another damn thing needs to be reissued before these guys:

Sunstreaker, Cyclonus, Scourge, Wheeljack, and Devastator

:thumb

HARRUMPH!!! :thumb

Ha! Some fellow Blazing Saddles fans out there, I see....

Rodimus Prime. Poorly designed. Needs to be redone in Robotmasters.

I kinda liked the Jumpstarters when they first came out, but not reissue worthy.

As far as things like Fort Maximus, if they reissued him in the US, he prolly wouldn't be that much more than the original issue if they planned to make any money off of him. Then again, the original was $100...

Cyclonus in Robotmasters!

Ha! Some fellow Blazing Saddles fans out there, I see....

Bitter, baby -- eight is my limit on schnitzengruben! :tfgrin

And to add something on-topic to the discussion:

I completely agree about Cyclonus and Scourge -- arguably the two most kickass figures from the entire post-TF:TM G1 period. And poor Sunstreaker... he gets no love from Hasbro. :tfhuh I am very excited to see that Wheeljack-looking Energon figure, tho, even though they named him after one of those G1 mail-order suckobots.

Devastator.... nice idea but he had too many dang pieces and he wouldn't stay together. Definitely a combiner whose coolness was largely due to the G1 show, rather than the toy, IMO.

...He'll think he's a chicken that got caught in a tractor's nuts!

Absolutely on Cyc and Scourge. Although the toys looked a little awkward compared to their excellent appearance on the cartoon, these guys had more personality than all the rest of the original 6 Seekers combined, so there's my soft spot. Can you say "Robotmaster redesign?"

Yeah, Im not happy about Streaker getting the cold shoulder. He was my first ever TF, and again another with a ton of personality, goes a long way with me. You didnt like the Omnibots? I thought they were OK, in line with the rest of G1 bricks. And as I remember, Downshift was that white Supra. After driving my sister's '85 Supra (and decimating a few Civics and Preludes, I might add...) I developed a love for the Supra line in general. Even though hers was brown and had an automatic, its a great car...

I agree fully on the Devastator thing, but lets face it, a lot of people want it therefore it should be built. Period. That goes for pretty much anything. We have the buying power, so we call the shots.

I'd rather see more money/resources go to the Alternators and Energon lines instead of getting a reissue of Repugnus or Mindwipe.

And add a LOT more to that list. A little taste of the past is good, but ya gotta look to the future. Especially when it's paved with Alternators. A heap of yummy goodness dipped in sunshine!

All G1 is the best and if you don't want them all, you're not a real Tfan

Damn those fake transformers fans, buying exactly the same things we do...

Oh, sorry. Erm, yes. I don't really want a G1 Megatron that much, guns are bad.
