Least Wanted G1 Re-Issue

Recommended Posts

agreed. Powerdashers = garbage. I actually bought a few of them when they were released. I thought they were a neat concept at the time (then again, i was about 10 years old). Now, though, when i look at them, i can't believe that i wasted my money. :tfmad :tard

The ones I'd want the least are also the ones least likely to be reissued; Throttlebots, Jumpstarters, Powerdashers, the worst of the Pretenders, etc.

Hmmm... While i'd love to get some more, I'd really hate to see the action masters again. IMO, they were the final nail in the G1 coffin, and I've never forgiven them.

although I proudly display my AM soundwave.

Pretenders... got some when I was a kid and i looked at my mom (who thought she had done so well by getting them for me) and i said, "This isn't a transformer!" I was only nine so don't hate me. I have since been forgiven by my mother

Fortress Maximus. Not wanting to diss Fortress Maximus fans, but in terms of size, a re-issue will be an awful waste of plastic. :tfevil In comparison, Unicron looks way better and conserves more materials.

What are we now, the EPA? :tftongue No offense taken I understand what you mean. I don't need a Fortress Maximus reissue, a remold for a commerative edition would be nice though. :thumb

This is an easy one to answer:

*Wheelie (obviously)

*EVERYTHING made during and after 1987, with the expection of Fort Max, Stepper, and Soundblaster

*Optimus, Sideswipe, and any other that's already been reissued a thousand times.

How about these two: Ironhide and Ratchet. I hated the toys (even though I own them) but great characters.

I d have to say, No to Wheelie and why we get Rodamus I have no idea. I really didn't need Rodimus Prime, considering you can get the Takara version for about the same price as the Hasbro Re issue. BUt if they ever do Top Spin or Twin Twist, Ill have to give up on Hasbro .

I sadly agree. For these two, we need some new molds who depict their animated selves more closely. Maybe not for the Masterpiece line, but possibly for Alternators or even the new Takara Robotmasters line. However, being the G1 junkie I am, I probably would still buy the Ironhide and Ratchet reissues. :roll

Yeah, the TFRM (robotmasters) brings zillions of new possibilities for older figures getting a second chance at being show accurate... Let's just hope they keep it going long enough to get some great stuff out of it
