Least Wanted G1 Re-Issue

Recommended Posts

There are constant cries for Sunstreaker, Grimlock, Soundwave, etc. to be re-issued by Hasbro. What popular character(s) do you not want re-issued?

Mine: Any mini-bot set containing Wheelie. Kup. Blurr.

uh...I'd rather have EVERY well-known character re-issued...but they need to be cheaper so I can actually buy them all.

Yeah you kinda nailed it on the head there, any minibot set with Wheelie, and blurr was just a horrible toy, but Kup was alright, it was pretty show accurate even if it couldnt move its legs and only had the front half of a head. But I love them for making an Elcamino esk car.

But since you already covered the basics, I will throw out two more that shouldnt be reissued and they are Triplechanger Broadside, and Triplechanger Sandstorm. Oh and dont forget the powerdashers, those never need to see the light of day again.

Powerdashers BAD!!!

add the throtlebots to that list along with Quickswitch, no need for any of those.

Sky Lynx will probably never be re-issued, but I could do w/o him...

This probably belongs in General Discussion...a move there, please?

Fortress Maximus. Not wanting to diss Fortress Maximus fans, but in terms of size, a re-issue will be an awful waste of plastic. :tfevil In comparison, Unicron looks way better and conserves more materials.

Would Trypticon or Metroplex also fit that category?

Nods.

With respect to the G1 series, I prefer the smaller robots than the larger ones. The larger the robots, the less sophisticated it seems as it exposes more of the clumsy build and joints as compared to the present day giant robots. I know this comparison is not fair in a way, but if you ask me to choose between Armarda Unicron and G1 re-issue of Fortress Maximus, I will always take the former.

If there is ever a re-make of G1 Megatron using the present day technology, giving his legs better poseability, I will be the first few to grab, that's for sure! :thumb

Someone already stole my thunder,, but I have to agree that powerdashers were really bad and should never be seen again.
