At the moment I would say Dreamwave.

I finally received my Kup & Wheelie reissue yesterday and though I love it, the art is hideous. The box I mean. The inside art is pretty cool.

I think Dreamwave did great work, especially Guido. He is the best artist for Transformers.

I realize that Yuki Oshima was probably using the toy models for his art rathen than go buy the cartoon appereances and that hurts a lot. Even if he had not, his drawing style is not up to par with the earlier releases.

I'm just trying to figure out how Fort Max fits into an All-Prime pic.

Its an all Autobot leader pic. Notice Starsabre aswell.

Dreamwave for me.

They may have had bad owners, but they certainly had some talented artists.

Don all the way.

I like the DW format, but what took me to Takara is that every leader is in there, and in all their forms if they went through reformatting [Armada/Energon Prime, Optimus Primal, God Ginrai/Star Convoy (with Victory Leo combined with Star Saber)], and some that aren't Optimus per say, but still leaders, Fort Max, Rodimus, and Star Saber.  And behind them all is Primus.
