Brawn DOES appear in a battle scene alive and well and fighting fit in Season 3 FYI.

-Sure its only an animation error (probably) but who cares? Its teh Brawn!!!

He was sucked into it by Huffer. Huffer once said, "We're not fighters like they are Prime", so he musta lived by the ideology of, "If you can't beat em, join em", then, back to my case in point, he musta convinced Brawn that their fellow Autobots were responsible for Windchargers death cause they used second rate steel in the construction of Autobot city which, consequently, led to Windchargers ill fated death.

 

Now, before joo say, "How do you know the steel was tainted"?. It's proven by the fact that the Insecticons could eat the blast doors. Now, going back to several TV episodes, you'll remember that the Insecticons thrived on crops and other such soft materials to produce energon and therefore wouldn't have the ability to chew harder substances..

 

Now, to the case of Megatrons blast charge. He likely did kill all the other bots on the shuttle using his blackhole powered fusion blast. It may have diminished his power before the assault, but the Insecticons were able to refuel him with the energy created from the consumption of the exterior wall.

Here's a picture of Brawn and Windchargers ghost. Windcharger is Starscreaming at Brawn cause he's dead and Brawn is not. Brawn did not die in the movie because he is too powerful. He is seen in the episode titled "Carnage in C minor". Brawns courage is really high.

 

 

 

For all the fanboys who require explanation of everything, Brawn did not die in the movie because he faked his death. As a noble and brave Autobot, when Megatron shot his shoulder he fell over and played possum. He waited until Megatron slaughtered and murdered his fellow Autobots and then left. Once Megatron left, he piloted the shuttle with his friends corpses to the planet in "Carnage", so he could run to run another day. Brawn is also very smart.

but on the previous note on Autobot friendships, there were some "cliques" within thew group.

 

Cliffjumper and Hound for example. they were somewhat compatible. Along with having one dimensional personalitiies

Ratchet, Wheeljack, Perceptor, Grapple, Hoist(The techies)

 

Ironhide and Prowl( Total Prime kiss asses in my opinion)

 

Sunstreaker and Sideswipe(The punks)

Then guys like Gears and Trailbreaker who looked like the loners of the group

Yeah....

 

They'd have NO use for someone adept at finding and testing metals and minerals used for making alloys. The autobots built everything out of 2x4 wood, just like on that kids show, Kids Next door.
