Well everyone else seems to already know this, but I was unaware of the fact that these toys were going to be a "reinterpretation" of the original characters, and not (at all) show-accurate. It's just really jarring to see these EXTREEEM Beast Wars guys. Not what I was hoping for.

completely didnt expect this either. i thought we were going to get uber better versions of the rm primal/megs. these things are just... not even fitting of bw. maybe some crazy anime bw spinoff, but not the original bw.

 

does anyone think that primal is to thin to have the wrist cannon or back springing should cannons? if he is then... :tfsad even moreso.

these are the "god" molds of primal/megs???

 

i think instead ill buy the takara rebirth set. pffff.

Yes, their Earth beast forms. Those don't look much like Earth beasts, now do they? I doubt that a T-Rex was made of metal like that.

 

If Cybertron can have mecha bats and condors that a TF can scan to take the form of, then other planets can have Earthlike mecha beasts. So these guys could've taken their form on another planet, and when arriving on Earth, found a matching breed to take the form of there.[/retcon]

That's if, if Takara continues to make them, and unfortunately there has been no indication whatsoever that that is the case. Please please please don't let BT be dead. SOOOOOOO much better than Alt (although I would absolutely cave and buy Alt Mirage if there is no BT).
