Best Combiner

but out of the normal TF's i think the worse is menasor his arms are just so simple

and the best is bruticus(sp) his spinny blade lots of guns he just rocks

Argh. I hate to agree with you about Menasor, since he's a sort of sentimental favorite of mine. But I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't disappointed with him. He doesn't even have a head so much as a mask that you sort of smoosh onto Motormaster's face. If it weren't for Bruticus (awesome name), Menasor would probably be my favorite, though. Again, sentimental reasons.

I dunno, it looks pretty bad-ass to me. "Look! It's TotemPole-O-Tron! Run for your lives!"

Allright Blitz!!

it's always great to see a fellow blitzwing fan!

i don't know why you guys are complaining, the mcd's transformers figures rocked the party! funny thing is, they're about as articulate as the actual armada toys!!

I never liked the toy but Menasor was one of my first TF's so he too has some sentimental value for me

For me, it was love at first sight from the time I saw the commercial for the Stunticons. I was like, "Decepticon cars? NO WAY!!!" (I wasn't as impressed with the Aerialbots, b/c how could you top Jetfire? I mean, come on.) I think half of my love for RiD Scourge comes from his "Stunticon" vibe. :tfgrin

IMHO the best gestalts from G1 were Predaking and Pirannacon.

Predaking was and still is the biggets gestalt toy released is the US and Pirannacon was one of the most detailed ones made, six robots and they could turn into a gun for the gestalt mode, nice detailed sword, great color scheme, what else could you ask for?

A rerelease of a Seacons giftset as part of the TRu series.

Huh -- seems like a lot of people are into the Seacons. They came out right about when I lost interest in Transformers, so I never really paid too much attention to them at the time. Does anyone have any good pictures of them that they could share? Just curious, thanks.

Im a bit split between Bruticus and Computron. Bruticus was cool b/c he was a military team. I mean, who doesnt like 5 well armed vehicles ready to rock? And the Technobots were cool b/c they were cybertronian alt modes, which I always dug. I liked the Stunticons on TV, but much like a lot of these 5 piece gestalts, the toy versions of the individual bots suffered a lot in appearance.

Computron was also one of the most "solid" and sturdy combiners. Very different from "bird legs" Superion and "watch me fall apart" Devastator. (No offense intended, of course.) And he was awesome....

*sigh* (used to own him...)

I only own Menasor, Computron and Superion - Computron is my fav by a long shot - he just looks like a badass, and as others have mentioned, he doesn't have a mask for a face, and is VERY substantial.

Of course, as soon as I get my hands on a Metal Predaking, he will become my favorite.
