i see it this way: i believe what i want to be believe, i see the wrecker comics as cannon, i see the BM cartoon as cannon, i don't see the bios as cannon when contradictng the cartoon or comic. i see the cartoon and comic continuities as different continuities when they contradict (IE: G1, armada, energon etc.) and as the same continuity when that continuity is expanded (IE: BW, wreckers etc.).

but i don't argue with someone believing something different, transfandom should be fun!

in the comics, Tankor's design is based on his toy. also, none of the comic characters are ever mentioned in the cartoon.

AH-HA!, those were not Takor's drones, they were Quake's drones.

Doomsday was never mentioned prior to Superman's death but he still exists.

Doomsday=hackneyed plot device and should not be used as an example of anything.  Besides, several members of the Legion were written out of continuity (Crisis on Infinite Earths) and written back in (Infinite Crisis). And with Byrne re-launching the Doom Patrol, some of my favorite characters ever (The Brotherhood of Dada) never even existed!

Really now, shouldn't we get less upset at one another arguing over canon (and it's one n, everybody. Two ns make it a weapon, not official.) and more upset at bad writers for screwing things up to the point that people argue like this for pages on end? There are things in canon that I refuse to accept. Primacron, for one. And the idea that any TF would want a little green man living in their head.

The thing is , TFs never addressed this problem with a "Crisis on Infinite Earths" kind of thing. It might help. Just a "we acknowlege that this might have all existed at one point or another, but for argument's sake, this is what is official." Hell, they did the same thing with the Bible at some point.

Dude, pleaaaaaase keep the bible out of this. Before you know it, we'll be reading ten pages of bible-based arguments posted by people trying to feel superior because they read it.*

*And claim it to be licenced by God himself.

this should help(credit goes to M Sipher)

Wow, very complete, I would say. But i have heard there had been two japanese Beastwar movies (drawned). If I'm not wrong, where doers it fitin that graphic?

By the way, to confuse you even more, "transmutant" was the french word used to name the fuzors in Beastwars for the french dub.

The BWII movie fits in with the BWII cartoon

Even worse; it's a 40 min. episode. (A nice one, though.) But the first ep of BW season two was attached to it to make it full length for the cinema's.

rampage wasnt one of the stasis pods on the axalon, he was sent out into space by primal as a failed project to make a spark? transmutate had power, but no intelligence thats why everyone wanted him. i dont remember the protoforms dying when they fell to earth though, in fact i dont know what ever happened to the rest of them. those pods circled the earth, i remember them falling after the shockwave. thats a hell of alot of protoforms to just "die". someone said the dreamwave beastwars comic is getting into that topic.

Terribly sorry. I don't mean to start a religious flamewar or anything of the sort but it is true that among Christian texts, there are writings considered canon and there are writings considered apocrypha. I was just trying to use it as an example of how not everything written makes it into the "official" version. It was the best example I could come up with at the time. I am also not trying to compare the Bible to transformers, so please don't misinterpret me as doing so.

Just a badly chosen example, that's all.

rampage wasnt one of the stasis pods on the axalon, he was sent out into space by primal as a failed project to make a spark?

ummm. im pretty sure that rampages stasis pod was aboard the axalon. they said he was given to primal and his crew to dump somewhere. and if he were dumped before they had gotten into the conflict with megs then id say its pretty coincidental that rampages pod landed on prehistoric earth with the rest of them.

the whole reason to dump him somewhere was because rampage was an experiment to create an indestructable spark. by all accounts they succeeded but what they made was a monster and couldnt be controlled or even disposed of in any other fasion.
