I haven't seen Beast Wars in like 8 years. But I watched atleast 95% of the show on UPN I think it was that, the time 6am. I loved that damn show.  :roll

 

Anyways. Let me get things straight on the Transmutants.

 

When Transformers arrived to earth in B.C. time, I remember that before any of them where seen or left the Ark, they had to scan for life and become it. So before they did this they where the Tranmutant?

 

But how does that make sense to Cybertron? Where they Transmutants at that time before leaving Or does this have something to do with the Time Warp they went through?

I belave the term your looking for is Transmetals, not Transmutate. Transmutate was a deamage protoform that was only in one epesode

Btw, that Terrorsaur in your Sig. What version is that? Botcon? I only own 2 and know of 2. Beast Wars TM and Beast Machines remold.

Sorry, its all cause they didn't explain what the TF's looked like before exiting the ark and added to that was the scanning and then transforming into what was scanned. Finally, added to that the Transmutant(s), which I don't remember anything about.

I think you are mixing up Beast Wars and G1.  The G1 autobots arrived on the Ark.  they showed some of the cybertron alt modes in More than Meets the Eyes episodes.  The Maximals arrived on the Axalon.  No prior modes were shown for them.

 

The Axalon was carrying pods with Protoforms in them.  this is where Transmutate came from.  The pod crashed to Earth and its programming was damaged so it wasn't able to get fully formatted.

 

Transmetals were created from the backlash energy wave of destroying the "moon" at the end of Season 1.  Transmetal 2's were created using the transmetals driver.

It is the botcon version, but I don't think it was ever made.  There was a version of him released in Armada that was pretty similar in color.

Transmutate's is one that survives but is ultimately corrupted. He's mangled from A) damage to his core system and B) incomplete scanning. The end result is a crude machination of servos and a pseudo 'telekinetic power' from an energon build up.

 

He was torn between Silverbolt's attempts to be welcomed and Rampage's personal desire for power. The two of them fire a missile at eachother and Transmutate blocks them from hitting one another. He dies in the process.

Alright, the Axalon, I new it wasn't the ark, but that was the best description I could give. What was the purpose of the Protoforms/Transmutants?

I think I remember that episode. Did any of the Transmutants turn into TF's?

He could be thinking of the Dinobots from the Marvel comics which were activated in the BC times to fight Shockwave.
