It is obviously a fake. For reasons being that 1) ILM doesn't use fake film imagery on the sides, 2) ILM doesn't use film, and 3) the numbers that appear on the film roll repeat, which wouldn't happen on a real film roll. Not to mention 4) Shooting hasn't started and 5) they don't superimpose green screen work until after shooting takes place.

I think it's too early to have these test-shots. It'll take another year or so before we can truly expect to see anything that might show up in the movie.

the movie is scheduled to release in a year... FYI

A year AND a half, 18 months, 7/4/07

I didnt realize we had so many members of the film industry on here. When we get an actual film person in here I will listen to his thoughts and ideas about this "test" shot. Although all this conjecture is hilarious

With as long as it takes to animate anything, they better not wait a year.

Wooooooow! that's was cool!

though it did take forever to load up even on Roadrunner broadband!

Though what the hell was that car... a camero or what?

Some kind of Nissan Sentra, I think its 91-95. :thumb

here's my thinking:

Read what don says aboout telling us if something has been leaked or not.

''NONE of our test footage has been leaked yet.

We'd tell you if it had.

We'd leak it if it was ready and interesting.''

Leak is suppose to be an accident, something you didn't want out, get's out. No one from those studios is gonna say; '' check it out, we have a LEAK! Yeah, we finaly found the Afterburner who went-over on the non-disclosure statment they signed and now they're out on the street. But, check out te cool footage anyways........infact here's where to go and you can down load it too!''

I've quoted two. Don Murphy and Line Producer Ian (Spiderman, Saving Private Ryan) Bryce, both saying it's bulls.

It looks fake, it is fake. Thats all we need to know.  It's not the first time transforming CGI robots have shown up on the web. Lets not get too exited.

I can't bring up the footage.

Would someone whose downloaded it be so kind, if it's under 10 MB, to send it to my email, splendic at gmail dot com ?

Thanks.
