I didnt realize we had so many members of the film industry on here. When we get an actual film person in here I will listen to his thoughts and ideas about this "test" shot. Although all this conjecture is hilarious

I'm not but I watch all the bonus material on DVDs. And I have a photographic memory. And I know that ILM doesn't use film because 1) they don't actually make movies themselves and 2) the ILM effects shots on the Star Wars DVDs show a different format to their testing process.

Also, this clip surfaced about 2 weeks after the TF movie license was announced, which happened back in August or early September 2005, well before a script writer was even chosen, the budjet was announced, and before it was clear that Don Murphy was going to be THE guy running the show.

Yea the security guard at the bar I work at was talking about it when the place first opened, which was in August. I didn't believe him one bit, and figured he was thinking of the citreon video or something. But no, I didn't see this video until earlier this week, but it is the one that was described.

Just saw it.

It's okay.

But if this gets you really excited, you'd better be wearing a diaper on opening night of the real movie.
