A closer look at Alt Prime.

He has knees people (you can clearly see the joints in the pickup bed).  That is all.

Unfortunately I think his shins are too big and his thighs are too small for them to be of much use.

his legs remind me of rid magnus... yenno if it were white n baby blue.. new headsculpt *or even keep the prime style head* we'd have a magnus....

chest seems a bit lame.

I hope you realize the REAL Ram SRT-10 has a spoiler on the back of the bed.

Not that it matters...

I was searching through this thread to see if someone said that before I made that exact same point.  Sure, it's lame ... and sure, I'd love to have a cover over the bed, but the thing has a freakin' 8.3 litre Viper V-10 in it, does 0-60 in under 5 seconds and runs the 1/4 in under 12.  If you kick it out of bed, I certainly have an open door.

Not to stray too far off-topic here but it's not quite that fast. Low to mid 13's stock with a 0-60 in the mid 5's. Still a very quick truck and that spoiler actually does suit a purpose, gives an extra  10mph in top-speed... not that anyone would want to do over 150mph in a pickup truck.

As far as Alt. Prime goes. I really dont like this mold as Prime, although it does kind of suit him. I'll go back and forth between getting him and not, mostly because I consider MP Prime to be the "Alt." Prime but I really like the SRT10 Ram and may not be able to hold out for the inevitable re-paint.

If I do succumb to buying SRT10 Prime, I'll probably make a few changes and make him into Ironhide as others have mentioned. Still hoping we get a Black SRT10 or Silver with black stripes re-paint/mold as Motormaster.

The spoiler is cosmentic, the airflow at that point wouldnt be sufficient to gain any kind of benefits as its diverted by the high cab. Also spoilers decrease top speed due to the increased drag they produce (re: downforce)

Actually that may be true for a number of cars, but the Ram SRT10 has been tested with and without the spoiler. Without the spoiler the top speed was around 145mph, WITH the spoiler they were able to push that up to 153mph.

hmm I would suspect this is manufacturers hyperbole due to the dynamics of the design. Only thing I can conceive off is rear end lift causing a reduction in traction being put down, that said given the cab will be knocking most of the airflow away I suspect that judicious placing of bricks in the flatbed would do a more efficient job ;)

*edit* unless its the back of the loading door that is causing a dead air zone, a flatbed cover should also eliminate that

He Jag, if this guy gets on ebay, will you be bidding? I soo miss you exclusive previews.

he's not on ebay yet

This would be my guess, the door probably causes some turbulence back there - you could probably get a similar improvement in top speed by simply leaving the bed door down.

I wonder if they'll give Prime a new Motto besides the usual Freedom and sentiance
