A few more pics.

Heres a shot of Alt mode so far.  Doors are taped in.

Here's another problem.  The wheel base on the truck is about 6mm longer than the Jeep.  I'm going to have to make a connector piece somehow.

And yet another problem.  This time it's too much kibble.  The truck model is an extended cab and it doesn't exactly fold up quite as well as I hoped it would.  Plus all the extra crap on the back almost tips the thing over.  One solution I came up with is to get rid of the extended cab all together.  This would also help with the wheelbase issue.  The worst part will be trying to cut it right so the doors match the cab.  I'm goint to try it when I get back from Thanksgiving.

Thanks again everyone!

Why don't you collapse the extended cab, like how Alt Skids do it?

The same thought crossed my mind

Haven't done much between the holidays and work.  But I got a little done this weekend.

Got the doors attached.  I used the same method that I did with my other bashes.

I took the Alts door and made a horizontal slit in it.  I then put a 4-40 bolt in the slit and threaded on a nut.  Place some glue on the head of the bolt and attach to the model door.  Shim it up with styrene so it wont wobble.  Instant sliding doors!

Here's a pic on the Alt.

Also, I ditching the extended cab for the standard cab.  It's the only way to lighten the load on the back.  Toolbox is started as well.

Thanks for the comments everyone!

It's looking really good man, keep the updates coming as often as you are able. I just hope the kb that I'm planning will turn out half as good as your's already is.

12-11-05 Update:

Finshed attaching the hood.  Made hinges out of styrene as you can see in the pic.  I did it similar to the Mustang mold where the hood can open normaly and can also open up out and over the front so parts can fold out for transformation.

And started work on the head.  I decided to use Swindles only modified.  Rounded off the forhead and added the ears.  The eyes are repoed from my Inferno.  I wanted it to be similar to Inferno's but not an exact copy.  It's not finished yet but pretty close to what I want.  This is just a quick and dirty paint job.  The final one will be better.
