Yeah, but she didn't transform... Megs was just in love with her, and seeing as he programmed her by downloading 'himself' into her, basically he was just in love with himself.

Last I checked Transformers can remain functioning for millions a years if regularly maintained or aquiring a different alt mode.  SO If their where more then a "hand full" of fembots the population BOOM (organic like reproduction withstanding) would spread the population too thin.  Then we'd be stuck with hundreds of Bumblebees/Cliffjumpers with identicle alt modes.  Personaly thats not a pleasent image.  If Transformers had as many female as humans do and (organicaly) reproduced as often as we do, they'd have died off millions of years ago.  If Transformers have "births" then for every 100,000,000 Male Transformers "created" theres probably one MAYBE two fembots for those out of all those transformers "brought on-line".

Japanese cartoons are all about the sexual tension. It's like the entire male population of Japan never gets past age eleven when it comes to the opposite sex (except in cases of demeaning and subjugating women).

 

Example: Kicker's reaction to Arcee on Energon. There were twice as many "huh?"s and "whu?"s dribbling outta him. And having to use her as a motorcycle? Golly, you'd think he was being forced to ask her to the junior-junior-junior middle school dance!  :tfpuke

but in the Japanese Cartoon, Override is Nitro and a Guy?!?  you want to explain just how gay that makes Hotshot then?

Ok, reference points to look at here. 

 

Take the movie Demolition man.  In this futuristic world, the lovely Sandra B and Sly Stalone get it on with the use of helmits and sitting across the room from each other...meaning what goes on in their heads is more important than actual physcial play, at least as far as they are concerned.  Take them and swap Arcee and Hotrod and there you go. 

 

In more realistic terms, if ya ain't had a long distance relationship with someone, or on line relationships, the whole phone/internet sex thing again shows intamacy with out proximity. 

 

Finally, I figure if 2 transformers got sick of messing around, and or bickering with each other on who's turn it is to change the oil pan...they might get bored and construct a little Baby TF.  Add a additional garage to the home for him or her to live in and there's your robot family. 

 

On a side note, Elita must be the MOST patient femail in the known universe.  She sits around for 4 MILLION YEARS waiting for her bot man to come back to her, he spends like a day, has a quick wam bam bring you back to life mam, and then he's off again?

That's because there was absolutely NO romance. Exillion and Nitro Convoy saw each other as rivals and never even had the slightest interest in the matter otherwise. Even when they start working together their relationship is general indifference.

In Cybertron its almost exactly the same except Override is female.

 

Are you people so horny that you see sexual tension anywhere that there is a guy and a girl?
