Explain Transformer romance!

Recommended Posts

The romance is there just so fanboys don't assume that the fembots are lesbians.  Well that's the best excuse I can come up with.

WARNING, CONTAINS SPOILERS!

yes, i would imagine that once tf's became techno-organic, they could probably perform physical reproduction but in a more mechanical way than if they were purly organic.

i believe his comments meant TFs have always been able to reproduce. it's kind of unclear though.

You know there are certain kinds of love without sex or reproduction.  They could love each other without sex.

Blackarachnia doesn't seem like the type who'd just want to cuddle  :tflaugh

I'm suprised she doesn't transform into a bicycle!

BEST POST IN TF:GD EVER

there's so few female transformers that i had to dismiss the theory that they're required for reproduction. in all of the american version of G1, there were just 6 female transformers: Arcee, Elita-1, Chromia, Firestar, Beta, and Moonracer. even compaired only to the tf's that had toys, that ratio is still too small to sustain a stable population, much less one that's been at war for eons. instead, new tf's are probably given life by supercomputers like Vector Sigma and females must be a random mutation.

Only a small fraction of Cybertronians that are written about.  There has to beti billions of Mechs living on the planet Cybertron...and by that standard here has to be millions of female Mechs on the planet.  Don't dissern that just because there are a handful of female Autobots and Decepticons that thats the only ffemale variation to the bots that there are.  :thumb

No kidding :lol

I kinda wondered what was up with Silverbolt being into Blackarachnia -- I mean, if they'd actually gotten together, she would have killed him and eaten him after they were done.

"You ever been with a fembot with six exhaust ports?"

"Bleep bloop exhausting!"

if the male/female ratio was an even 50/50, then we still would have seen fembots more often. the fact that we didn't even see female tf's in the background leads me to believe that they are a rare mutation.

Either that, or the percentage of fembots correlated to the percentage of girls who watched Transformers.

P.S. :lol to Thad

I still remember the first time they showed female Autobots (no female Decepticons? WTF? ;))
