Anything i say inevitably ends up involving Unicron and/or Primus.

Most of my friedns think im a bleeding weirdo anyway, so Transformers is the least of their problems.

My Dad's always trying to get me to get rid of my collection or 9/10's of it anyways. My Mom tries to be accepting about them, but I think she's on my Dad's side. My GF thinks it's cool that I have them and she's fine with me buying more has long as they "don't rule my life." I just have to buy her a new kitty transformer and she's happy.

Dorm days, people loved to play with em .. but since I don't take my stash seriously outside of doing it as a hobby, it's not that big of a deal if people appericate it or not. Atleast IMHO

I say f the parents, and the wifes and girlfriends. My girlfriend used to get pissed when I'd hunt for them at any store. I was obessed she said. Gave her a nice as princess cut diamond engagement ring and she quieted up real fast! LOL Now she encourages it. She'd rather have me buy them then going to hooters and drinking beer with the guys. Plus I'd much rather spend my hard earned cash on tfs when I can drink for free at home! Plus its sad to look at the cheerleaders that I went to school with working at hooters instead of having a real career. LOSERS!

People give you crap tell em to sit and spin. Tell you parents that these toys will be sold to pay for their nursing home some day!!! That'll shut em up quick! \m/

LMFAO!!!! THATS FREAGGIN GREAT DOOD!!!! I love that, but yeah, everyone in my family, and anyone that is older than I am, except my grandparents, dont like the fact that I still collect... "You spend all that money and all they do is collect dust..." Eh, so what, it's something I like I tell em, but the girl Im talkin to likes the fact that I collect still. She saiys its good to keep in touche with your inner child.... tho... she and I arent the most mature people in the world either, lol.

My gf and my best mate (who is female) have been taught to not only appreciate the toys, but also the history behind the toys.......

Or at least they politely smile and nod :redface

Ha, awesome. That is the key though isn't it???

My wife? Loves them.

My friends? Same.  They like the fact that they actually tranform into recent versions of automobiles.  One of my friends/co-workers down the road is a Scion nut (he has one) and he's extremely happy over the fact that Skids is coming out.  Most of the others are Mustang fans - they scoffed when I told them that Grimmy is a Mustang, but they agreed that the design is perfect for him when they saw him.

My mom and stepdad?  Think they're cool.  Imagine my surprise when they both belted out the Transformers theme (or at least the first line).

My in-laws?  Same response.  They remember them from when my bro-in-law was a child.

I teach High School, so none of these older kids are interested in this stuff.  They do remember beast wars though
