BTRTF!

Recommended Posts

Ah, BTR...Im not sure if there is a thread back there but...

Now, thi guys are truly ugly, what were they thinking?Did they think fans like you would buy, these, these things? They should have left the BTR to Gi Joe or something, even Megablox's transforming toys are better, these are just out of shape...It is truly a shame that they wasted so much plastic on these.

What do you think about BTR TF?

I like Legos, I like Transformers. But some things just are not meant to be merged together.

I dunno.. they look all doopey in BTR.

BTR is the WORST idea Hasbro has ever had. The characters look bad, and the blocks fall apart if you look at them funny. Please, someone tell Hasbro to stop this BTR nonsense. Oh, they are all shelfwarmers, too.

I agree, my Prime falls to peices at the smallest touch. I won't even display him with the rest of my Primes. He is not worthy.

Wait.. are you saying.. some of you actually had to BUY (at least) one of those things to know they sucked? :tflaugh :tflaugh

I could tell that just from the pictures. :tftongue

LEGO + Transformers aren't necessarily a -bad- idea, though. I made some pretty cool TF's with my brothers LEGOs back in the 80s--fully transformable, too (I think I only had to resort to "pull-apart-and-move" tactics in a couple places. Arms and legs and such were actually hinged ;)).

Yeah, I got the BTR Prime from a friend for Christmas and it falls apart if I move it! The worst part of this line is that they don't transform. You would think that with all the lego technology they have they could make these puppies transform. That way, even with the ugliness factor thrown in, there would still be a saving grace.

I would have preferred a transformable Lego Technics line of TFs. But Hasbro would never license out what they can do interally. Good idea. Just poorly executed.

I am a prime and megatron completist and so I had to pick them up, but after I put prime together, I just tossed the whole idea, BTR is like actionmasters to me, they just dont matter. They dont transform so they are not transformers, and dont belong in my collection.

I redid my BTR Prime the other night, with just using the pieces that were included, and I cannot find a good version. I guess I will have to go and find my box of legos and see if that will improve it.

I had high hopes, but Hasbro dashed them with yet another poorly executed idea. Shame on you Hasbro, do you think Takara would do this?
