*edit* and the `humour` is cringeworthy, following a runway creation for Jetfire and Prime we get such gems as "seems awfully elaborate for a take off" and "1st floor housewares" in the most wooden voices imaginable.

The humor is the high point of the show for me and is far from cringeworthy IMO. That example you gave spices up the boring stock footage of the launch which is a plus in my book.  :thumb

At least none of the bots have turned into mermen yet (G1) or been transformed into yolding idiots (energon).

 

I've always wondered why demolisher and cyclonus were given such crappy alt modes in energon.....why would megatron even consider turning cyconus (a helicopter armed to the brim with missiles and machine guns) into a puny snowmobile with skis!?, that, and how demolisher who was originally a friggin futuristic tank with rocket launchers, becomes a dump truck! 

 

Yet they give Megatron a 10.0 for intelligence on his stats card :roll  :thumb

That is a really good point btw.

 

But then again Energon (never seen superlink) had be cringe every few minutes, yet being a masochist I kept watching, though I missed the last episode.

 

 

Cybertron > Energon/Armada.
