I had to do this, as soon as I took it out of the package...How many of you G1 Fans have done this simple modification of Energon Galvatron to G1 Galvie?

Yup, one minor alteration you may not catch with the eye right away, is I switched legs at the hip joint. It makes for more life like poseability at the Knee joint. Instead of knees bending laterally, they now bend medially. Take a look at the Galvie stepping on Optimus Prime's face pic, I purposely posed it that way to show off the new knee flexibility

That looks really good, nd with some minor, and i mean very minor, details, that would be kick ass!, now I need to get ahold of a Energon Galvatron.. hmmmmm.

Brilliant  :thumb, I did a similar kitbash a while back with my E-Megs, Look's much better on E-Galvy though.

I`m planning to take my E.Galvy and turn him into am Alt. Galvy or I might just finish turning him G1. I already took all of that extra Energon crap off months ago you know the wing, and the nose cone. Now I just need to figure out a way of actually hooking the cannon on his arm, and head. I`m thinking the best way to do the head part is a double hinge joint like the nose cone was on and just have it click there above his head as for the arm I`m thinking I`ll modify the tank cannon so it looks like his G1 arm cannon piece and have the orange part click on and off similarly to G1. Alot more complicated I know but it`ll be well worth the effort.

I bought an energon Galvatron at TRU (on clearance) last night and HAD to do this alteration to him - I have been wanting to for some time now, but you finally inspired me to do it.

 

I did the leg swap too - it made so much more sense to do that, because it allows his legs to bend the right way.

 

I don't have photobucket acct., but perhaps I can get Weirdo or someone else to post them for me? I also included the shoulder pads, and G1 cannon to his arm.
