Energon Galvatron to G1 Galvatron

Recommended Posts

That is a unique take on Galvatron! :eek

That's the good thing about customs... you're only done when your satisfied with how it turned out.  :thumb

With mine, I am still tweaking it a little. I need a few more paint apps, and I will be done.

I finally snagged a e-galvy for $12 and want to do this... what color paint did you guys use to match the purple... or did you repaint the whole thing?

I didn't repaint any of him... the only thing I really did was take off the wings, dremel down the arm cannons and reverse the legs.

Curious to see yours when it's done!

I repainted one of those over sized walmart Megs into Warpath but now I`m thinking of kitabashing that and the E Galvatron together so I`ll have an Alternator Galvatron. I`ll be using Galvy`s head and chest, and repainting the tank body silver then the main bot mod parts purple. So what do you guys think of how that sounds?

I've removed the wing assembly, now the back looks a little... exposed.  What do you think I should do?  it doesn't seem like the wings screw onto the centerpiece.

what i did was put the remenants of the wings back on his back as i didn't like the hole that was left, removed the extent of the wing and now it gves a rest for the blaster that i made out of his tank gun, t's the first time i've modded anything like that and its turned out well.

the reason my galvatron looks different to everyone else's is because it's actually a megatron that i kitbashed

How about doing something unique for his back? I used an old Trypticon piece for a cannon look...

1) I ended up using the remnants of the back too, but it makes for hard transformation unless I dremel down the spots where his original orange barrels are.

2) The back comes in five sections - two parts to each wing, and the center.  I was only able to "clip" the last section of each wing, any idea on how to rid myself of the middle parts?  It's pinned in, would I have to pop off one of the tips at the connection to pull out the pin?

3) Mazin - great work.  Can I see a pic from behind? and is that a G1 Galvy cannon?

Sure is...

I don't have any back pics... I'll see what I can do - but I have a few others on photobucket already:

I'll get you back pics asap if you think it would help.

Dang... why, oh why did I pass on getting Galvatron? :tfsad
