hey, heatguy, you can still find them in walmarts for $25ish.

Mazin - yeah, no rush, but I would like to see what you did to his back.  How does G1's cannon attach?  Bear in mind, i've never seen the real thing in action.

Where does it go in cannon mode?

What a score!! Where did u get it at dat price???  :tftongue

Awesome mods. But I'll stick to my Enermegs. This topic makes it tempting to get a Energon Galvatron though...

No problem - I will get those pics of his back up for you soon.

The G1 cannon is SUPPOSED to slide on the original G1 Galvatrons arm. Since it wouldn't fit on Energon's arm that way I needed to dremel down the slider pieces, then attach it to his arm. It doesn't come off, but the orange transluscent barrel does slide out.

In the original, the barrel was just transferred off of the mount and put in the front of the cannon. The mount was basically a put away piece in cannon mode for G1.

But I am still playing around with the transformation - I almost have a tank theme going, but it's not quite ready yet.

damn i wish hasbro did'nt stock so few galvatrons here! :tfsad

Actually there has been one sitting on the shelf at TRU for about six months.

Would you like me to work something out for you?
