go to photobucket.com and set up an account then, they don't charge anything

the second one looks better (only because there is no twisty tie mind) how did you manage to attatch a cannon to his back?

Lol... thanks!

Good eye, by the way... I used a G1 Trypticon accessory - it's a cannon portion of the tank that came with the original figure.

I also dremelled off the arm / shoulder pieces, and made them into the top pieces near his head. No wasted parts here!

I based him off of this pic:

...and used a lot of the tips from the other Galvatron in this topic.

And thanks for the tip on the photobucket account - it will make life easier.  :thumb

Okay...now THAT is so DAMN cool!!!

Now I want to go get an e-galvy, so I can do it MYSELF!!! :thumb

Good one Galvatron1. Nice !

post-5271-1124758032.jpgpost-5271-1124758032.jpgThis was actually my first kitbash. I used the nose cone for the thing on his back. I ended up using megatron before I knew galvatron was coming out.

I just wanted to thank you for posting this...  :thumb

I bought an energon Galvatron at TRU (on clearance) last night and HAD to do this alteration to him - I have been wanting to for some time now, but you finally inspired me to do it.

I did the leg swap too - it made so much more sense to do that, because it allows his legs to bend the right way.

I don't have photobucket acct., but perhaps I can get Weirdo or someone else to post them for me? I also included the shoulder pads, and G1 cannon to his arm.

How much did you get E. Galvatron on clearance for? I've been waiting for a price drop, but seeing how they got real scarce real fast around here, I picked up one exactly a month ago, For full retail price :wtf

I'm so happy that my simple ideas have been inspirational! I'm glad to see this thread well received, I couldn't wait to share these pics with you guyz!! I'm glad you guyz like it!! :thumb

Yeah, I tried explaining the leg swap thing to the guyz at Transtopia, but they don't seem to get why it's necessarily a good thing :roll :

Maybe one of you guys can better explain it to them!! LoLz!! I don't know how to explain it any clearer!! :thumb

It always bothered me, seeing ppl always posind they're E-Megs or E-Galvie in pics, w/ no flexion in the knees what so ever!! I'm surprised no one thought of this sooner!!  The knees were always able to bend toward the back, but having it bend towards the middle adds so much more poseability  :wave

Oh. My. God.  :roll

I can't believe that some people can be so dense!

I did the mod, and I thought that it worked out rather well. It was / is a good tip, so thanks.  :thumb

On this pic...

I still think that I am missing something on the paint apps.

Any thoughts?

the cannon is made from his tank and the entire thing is made of megatron as i do not own a galvatron. the blue works quite well i think
