Although it's still better than Armada, which had some of the worst 2D robot animation ever...

lightly back on topic, I would like to see some Marissa Fairborne action in a show. Basically a governmental/military charachter. I always thought it would be cool if they had an Autobot AND a Decepticon on the UN. That could have a lot of depth.

Computer technology has improved a lot though. Just look at the games released while Beast Wars was being made.  :tfpuke

 

Now most games look excellent. The cutscenes look impressive too, I loved the ones in the Armada game and they clearly show what a good animation studio with sufficient funds can do.

 

Energon falls a little short though the animation is better then Armada simply because it is consistent. So I am overall pleased with it. GF, only comment so far is that I prefer a shiny look for the Transformers (used on Beast Wars) which does not quite get matched. I will have to wait and see though.  :tftongue

 

As for Marissa, I think almost anyone would PWN the newer humans. I think it is quite posssible for an Autobot to be on the UN but a Decepticon. For all they care we are only fleshling germs.

Marissa did have a part in the Dreamwave series. Brilliant stuff I say.  :thumb

I say yes that there should be humans in the next transformer cartoon. I say that they should have adults and not winy kids like carlos. the only kid I liked was Rad he was a never a whiny kid

Spike and Daniel were okay in the film, and the rest of G1 the humans just seem to have been overwhelmed by the coolness of the Transformers.

 

Armada was a somewhat bad, but they atleast had the Minicons to distract hate.

I always wanted to see whole series of a Pre-g1 story line of the early Cybertron to Golden Age Cybertron or short after it.

 

In anycase, no main human characters. No Anime fight scenes and more realistic Robot modes and better vehicle shapes. The vehicles don't have to look earth. Hover cars like Blur or slick car modes like Arcee are fine.

 

It also would be cool to see transformers mainly as Starships, using humans or Androids as internal symbiots for clean up and repairs. Now that would be cool.

You don't want to know my answer about the humans.  I don't want to get Suspended...

Humans aren't necessarly ad, it's that they are always annoying kids.  I always liked Spike and crew in G1, Daniel was annoying, but at least every episode wasn't about him, which is pretty much the norm these days from what I hear.  I don't even watch anymore, so I dont' care either way actually

What I would like to see is that the toys them selves be designed to hold little mini pilots. We see that it can be done...just look at the SWTF jedistarfighter.

Basicly a line of futureistic mechs to save the universe.
