pesimists unite!! this is the end. i can see it now. i think i fear change more than any other person in existence. if the only thing that changes is the name tomy on our takara products, ill be unhappy. imagine how im going to feel when something more drastic happens.

*gets ready the noose

Well if it is the end, the a good thing about that would be that it wouldn't be so hard catching up on collecting!

Thats far too pessimistic to say there may be no more Tfs-utter nonsense. As soon as the movies are near the toys will be streaming out. Remember these:

Jurassic Park

Batman Begins

X-Men

X-Men 2

Spider-Man

Spider-Man2

Fantastic Four

Hulk

King Kong

The Lost World

Jurassic park ///

+every other high budget action/adventure movie you can think of

The way its going the worst case scenario is that Tfs wont be available all year round but appear for a few months before and after their movies release(s).

Transformers may not be ultra hot, but it's been a steady seller for Hasbro for most of the last 20 yrs.

The line wont die.....  but it may change dramatically.

Maybey they'll make it y'know... good?

lets just hope they dont ruin TF and lets hope for more being released

We'll just have to wait and see. Maybe all the japan-only collectibles will be available to the US now. Perhaps wishful thinking, but optimistic nonetheless.

As has been noted before, Tomy has a presense here in the US.  I see a likely possibility of Tomy nixing the Hasbro license and just releasing the toys here themselves.

but isn't it hasbro who distributes tomy merchandice in america?
