Having thought about it for the past few days, all i remember was that there was no story, just action. It was liking watching those porno flicks where  they throw out what ever plot there may be and just get into the action. Mind you, I dont care about a "story" when it comes to porn, but damnit! I want some kinda of story when it comes to transformers.

I'm not sure what you were watching, maybe it was porn, but I definitely saw a story. These Transformers have come to Earth while trying to obtain the planet keys that could ultimately save the Universe from doom by black hole. While on Earth, they need to blend in, so they will not cause too much of a disturbance to the humans. They have befriended three kids, by way of chance, as usual and these kids are attempting to teach them the way things work on Earth. Thundercracker seemed to be on recon when he was spotted by some Earth military personel. They launch their own jets in an attempt to take Thundercracker down, but would be easily defeated if not for Jetfire. I could go on, but I'm guessing most people saw it. Either way, there's plenty of story there if you didn't fall asleep. I'm ready for this week's episode.

pretty good show except: the opening song was cool But the british guy has to go, WHY is thundercracker a ocky panoki farmer , when did jetfire become an assie?

THat's what I forgot to address.  The "rapper" in the title song is Australian, not British.  Probably Jetfire. (or, at least, that's what I'm gonna assume. :P)

it wasn't THAT bad. People are just overreacting to it. it's not all that good either. it's decent. good waste of time, and it could improve later. The human characters aren't annoying for a change.

cybertron sucked completatly. all the voices were either british or aussie* not that i dont like them but just dosnt fit* kids im america sre used to american voices * or dopey voices like barney* the boy sounds like a lil school girl, graphics are ok, just that when they talk,its really Powerglideed up. also theres no real intro, what are planet keys? wtf megs is alive? what map? wheres kicker?

and what type of british accent, there is more than rp and cockney y'know such as brummie and scouse and geordie and manchurian.

 

was it the stereotypical lords "oh we all live in castles over here and drink tea all day" british accent

(british accents are the only ones that protray sarcasm and irony properly without being plainly obvious about it.) now i think about it bw megatron's accent was the closest to a british accent your gonna get to an authentic accent from a uk show. (e.g. blackadder, red dwarf, alan partriage)

Well, I wached it, and all I can say is:

 

Typical.

 

Typical Hasbro out and out incompetence to turn something already pretty damn good into something awesome.

 

We have some really cool designs for the toys, some really cool looking characters, and then we get this nonsense. Why anyone would somehow think it's a good idae to skip 3 episodes, especially 3 that explain what the hell is going on, is just beyond any comprehension.

 

The accents, for better or worse, just don't make sense. It's ok to scrap 3 episodes because it doesn't fit into the continuation, but then you go ahead and change the accents of some of the major players? GTFOH with that. It jsut goes to show that Hasbro is run by a bunch of chimps. Actually, chimps couldn't screw up this bad....

i am confused -

did Cybertron start with Ep4? or did it edit the first 3? 4? together?

 

But if Hasbro is going to INSIST on it matching up with Energon and Armada and yet blatantly defies that - i can see why people genuinely would be dissapointed.

 

But as i recall (correct me if i am wrong) A) GF started 130 years after Energon (so kicker kicked it) and B) GF made a passing reference to Energon too so there....

 

Also if i remember correctly Armada and Energon did not match up between them selves very well not between the two series or even within each individual series.
