I have yet to find a Cybertron fig here in Arizona yet.  Damn it to hell man. Hopefully they should begin showing up around the weekend.

Whats this about a two pack of screamer and VP?

 

And what does everybody think of VP? i got the GF version a while back and i heard the  cyb version is aweful

Nothing's wrong with the Cybertron version. It doesn't have all of the paint apps. that the GF version has, but it doesn't bother me.

I know of the paint app, and the aweful white colour of the mold >_< but ive heard the sword and wings are made of a gummy type substance. Was curious if it was that bad?

Though I want to go on a full fledged rant about how dissapointed I am in Hasbro for altering so much of this figure I instead decided to do some research and see the differences myself.

 

Didn't take long at all until I found this. Pretty good review overall and the comparison pics speack for themselves.

By the way how rubbery are the wings, and sword. Better or worse that Cybertron Thundercracker.

The GF version is solid plastic, Both the wings and the sword.

 

I honestly think you should go the effort of getting the GF for this figure, he is so much better than the Cyb version, Colours and Quality wise

When I saw the first pics of the Cybertron VP, I immediately ordered the GF version. It really looks so much better. Definitely one of those instances where Takara's version is preferable.

 

Am glad to hear Cybertron is out. Will take a long time before I get my hands on any of the figs, but makes the waiting bearable.

I have him, he topples over very easily in robot mode

 

you need to have him in a semi-squatting position to keep him standing in robot mode.

 

Interesting. Over the weekend I saw the Scout's, Deluxes, Voyagers, Leaders, Supreme, and no sign of the Ultra class. Could've been sold out at this point though I doubt it because everything had looked like it had just been freshly stocked.

 

One observation though. Why are Voyager an outragous $30 when Deluxes are $15 and they aren't even much bigger. I was actually quite surprised how small the voyagers in fact were. It may just be the box but Vectorprime looks freaking tiny IMO. I also expected the leader class megatron to be bigger. Passed on em both for the time being.

I am sooooo glad I picked up the GFVP now! I was waiting to get Cybertron and save some dough, but after seeing some pic a while back of VP in white I went and bought GF Convoy, Starscream, DreadRock and Vector Prime because I feared what Hasbro was going to do. Man am I happy I did! I had no idea they would be that different between the two, and I'm just amazed they didn't leave him alone.

 

I wonder if they're going to do some color adjustments on the US version of the cartoon. Weird.

Well I completed all of cybertron wave 1.
