I enquired about the ultra and mega TF's shown in the Argos book and the only way they can be bought is if they're ordered before hand. They don't have the names of the TF's on their computers. So it's a case of crossing fingers when ordering them.

:wtf

I don't understand what you mean? I was in Argos yesterday & they said the new ones will be in when the old ones are sold.

He may be refering to the fact that any Cyb toy above Deluxe is marked 'Extra' in the latest catalogue.

So, not every store carries them in stock for someone to just walk in off the street and buy them without any prior notice.

Well I'll be damned!

They are "Extra" store products, the 3 stores I go to are all "Extra" ones. :redface

*edit*

As soon as I find out what's in stock Smokey, I'll pick 'em up for you if you need 'em. :thumb

Well I called into the Fraserburgh branch this morning and asked about Soundwave and Menasor, when I quoted the numbers for them, I was told that while they didn't know if those were the TF's that would be sent, they did say that the only way to find out would be to order them and when they arrive, to see if they're the right ones. I didn't like the idea of wasting an order like that just in case it was one I already had, so I didn't order.

When I asked about the deluxe ones, the only one they had in was CD Hotshot. I could order them either later this month or next month and cross my fingers and wait to see if they're the right ones. If anyone else has ordered them and they turn out to be right ones, please let us all know. It would be nice if Argos did at least have names or even some way of telling just what TF's are being ordered. They order them from Argos Extra, the standard stores don't stock them unless ordered.

I'm needing them for the collection, Soundwave especially since I don't have a Soundwave in the collection yet. Don't have a Menasor for that matter either. So many TF's to find, either never enough money at the time or can never find the damn things. It's like Pokemon, you go hunting for a rare one and it can take a long time.

-When finding a TF in a UK shop, other than Argos, it can be wise to have your details on you because you might collapse from shock.

Has anyone seen any new TF DVDs around recently? I know there was a Cybertron DVD released, which oculd only be ordered from Woolworths, but has there been any others? I keep looking, but no luck.

-...Too tired and unwell to think of anything

Good price for the new Box-set:

^ was about £35 in HMV Lakeside.

just letting people know that i have had a name change.

Tony if you want cybertron on dvd i can transfer tv episodes onto dvd directly if you want

That would be fine, thanks. Please take your time doing so though, I'll have to try and get a new DVD player that can run recorded DVDs. I should have it sorted out either by next month or October, my PS2 fell apart a few hours ago and I've ordered a new one, it should arrive within a month or less.

So I'm out of a DVD player and the new PS2 will not be used for DVDs this time round since it's fairly clear that PS2's can't handle DVDs very well, it's been clicking and screaming for almost two years and it's been getting worse till today when it finally died in a very noisy fashion. How good is the quality of them? My old computer might work with them, maybe, it's not been working right for a long time.

On another note, anyone had any luck finding out if Cyb Soundwave and Menasor have actually been released in Argos or if the pictures are a mistake?

-PS2's are as realible as my ex, which is not at all. All that month spent on it and it can't handle DVD movies, useless pile of junk.
