Woo-HOO! I luh-HUV this guy!! Awesome robot mode, and I love the cape, it's a perfect touch. I've already altered his robot mode a little to better distribute his back/shoulder kibble, I'll post pics later or tomorrow. Haven't gone to Death Star mode yet, but that looks golden too.

 

BTW, as someone mentioned somewhere on one of these boards, the package insert makes a great generic background for pics. It's a "matte painting" of the DS hangar deck seen in the movies. I'm keeping it so I can keep my daughter's toys out of the background of my TF pics. :tftongue

 

And I've got movie Voy Thundercracker and movie G1 Starscream in the pipeline from a couple TFans, yay, and dammit, I'm gonna find MP Starscream before Christmas.

So, uh, what's a battery bot and what does it do?

 

It rolls along on its back, uprights its self rolls a for a bit then moves each wheel a bit so it "walks" and its arms move up and down

and its "eye" lights up. not bad for a £2 robot.

well, thanks to tman and david willis' blogs over @ shortpacked, i finally gave in a picked up a few 25th joes. i only picked up snake eyes and storm shadow and after being impressed enough i think i'll try to pick up a few more given how i keep losing ebay auctions and have nothing to pick up @ retail but mp ss. that along with the fact that they're only $5 makes it a nice cheap toy fix, and gives me something to play with... now i'll probably be putting up a few of my energon guys to make shelf space for some joes.
