And in the mail Titanium Menasor and classics Cliffjumper.

Oh, and Maximo the instructions don't show a place for his weapon to be stored unfortunately.

Movie Jazz

Deluxe Brawl (or Devestator if you wish)

Brawl is pretty good, just wish his arms would stay pegged.. Jazz is designed kinda funky, but looks alot better in person than he does in pictures. I liked em both lots.

ZOMG ANOTHER HAUL!!

DSC00554.jpg

Went to the local Zellers and there was Magnus on the top "extra crap that won't fit" shelf. I climbed that mofo and got it down.

Then hit the local Wal-Mart...I see Arcee...Dreadwing...I tell myself "They are not Powerglideing with this guy today" and climb to the top shelf AGAIN and SHAZAM!! BUMBLEBEEEEEEEEEEE!! The scalpers didn't beat me this time...

How do you feel about Magnus? I'm still interested in that fig. I've hated every 6in Titanium fig I've bought so far though.

Well I haven't opened him yet. I think I'm too into the movie esthetics to get geeked about Magnus. It was more of a "buy now or I'll regret it later" deal. Inside the box he looks pretty cool. The shoulders are very far back. Size wise, he seems larger than previous Titaniums. If you haven't liked the previous ones, I doubt this will change your mind. Not sure what he goes for online, but I wouldn't overpay for him. I'm just a Magnus fan from childhood (my old screenname was UltraMarknus) and wanted to own a true Magnus update mold.

If Rodimus didn't impress you, I doubt Magnus will IMO.

Two mail-order beauties for me today:

-movie Voyager Starscream, much bigger than I thought, esp. the robot mode. Crazy kibble in jet mode, won't be seeing that too often.

-Alt Rodimus, several days earlier than I thought he'd be here from HTS. He is way-way cool. Flip-down visor? Yu-huh! :07dance

I just picked up Meantime. He doesn't exactly fit that well on me, but he's nifty. I can kind of understand why they didn't do a 'working' timepiece in there, since y'have to rotate the face in the transformation. (Maybe they could, if they stripped him of his auto-transformation.)

He also has a cute little feature. He's similar to Nike Convoy and Nike Megatron wearing their transformed state, he wears a wristwatch on his left arm. :tflaugh

    • Today's feature is POWERED by the 2020 Planet X PX-14B Helios figure. This release is the third in succession of Diaclone Powered Convoy themed TFcon exclusives sponsored by The Chosen Prime. The first was the 2009 Fans Project Parallax D.I.A. Commander Armor Set, followed by the 2019 MakeToys MTCD-01D Delta Manus. Click Image to Read the Full News Story Now
    • Tonight on GotBot Goes Live, we talked about a big rumor (I can't stress rumor enough) of a new SS 86 Hot Rod, we dive deeper into Ironhide and cover this week's news, including the 2 Canon crossovers. Plus, we play 2 rounds of trivia and do this week's unboxing!
    • Been a lotta work over the years for the fans. Worth it. As for Cyril's collection, it is my entire childhood and then some.
    • I know he's not going to read this most likely but you're not supposed to be able to separate the car mode easily you twit. It's only supposed to happen when you plug it onto the Menasor frame. That's like complaining about a Powermaster not being able to easily transform if you don't have the engine in it. It's the whole point. And the people who say that Hasbro is coping third party figures. Are you serious? Hasbro is just copying the cartoon designs. Designs that they own. Which is what the third party were copying. CW Menasor was trying to emulate the toys more than anything with the scramble aspect. They were also trying to make Menasor's design work more like the rest of the Scramble City style combiners. It's just that how can they be copying something that they came up with first? And that Crasher still sucks. It should've been a retool of Dragstrip instead of just a redeco of Mirage with the other Mirage's spare head. Slicks should be the redeco of Mirage if you want to do a Gobot from him due to the similar parts layouts. Dragstrip when done right will always look more like Crasher as they have similar parts layouts. Even G1 Dragstrip looks like G1 Crasher. The front goes behind the head on both but in slightly different ways. Even still, you can make that same piece look like Crasher's.
    • Sideways is a bot of many hats. Herald of Unicron, glorified movie cameo, and Master Yogi to name a few. As far as I can tell this isn't a licensed car, which is ok as it allows for more wiggle room with the design and it shows. This is one of the few car transformers I didn't struggle with getting panels lined up and pegged into place. Robot mode is squat and lanky but once you have the legs bent properly they hold Sideways up well and it's pretty posable. If you've been looking for some of the more obscure characters from the live-action movies to get a figure, Sideways is a solid purchase.
