i have a Question-

I actually liked Arcee in TFTM.

 

My problem with Arcee is the same as all the other S3 bots - she became annoying in season 3 because the writing and the animation were Craptastic.

 

But conceptually and Techspec wise - she is an awsome addition to the TF-series.

I even like her in pink

Look, if we're gonna debate the merits of male/female robots, okay.

 

But that is NOT what this discussion is supposed to be about.

 

It's supposed to be: "given the fact that TFs are male and female, what's the problem with having Arcee in the movie?"

 

You may not like fembots but that doesn't make them any less official.

Like I said - dodgy design issues, and the personality. I dunno about you guys, but the robotic equivalent of the typical pink-wearing all American slightly ditzy blonde really doesn't appeal to me.

 

If Arcee is in the film and if she gets a decent design and a personality, I have no problems. But my chief fear is that the film will fall into that trap.

Yup. Your point? Whilst this film is not G1, it will have G1 elements. It's a safe bet that if they include Arcee, she'll be pink and have "robo-boobs". She might not. Who knows in this crazy world we live in? Buuut...

 

These are my worries, and my reasons for not wanting femmebots. I'm still going to be watching the damned thing like the rest of you and wasting my paycheck on the merchandise the like the rest of you, but these are my reasons.

 

Hey, I might be wrong. Arcee may end up in the film with a personality worth mentioning and a design that rivals the Alternator line. I might be right, and she ends up being the lumpiest car known to man.
