Rattrap was a great toy., Not because of the toy itself but the character.

 

A toyline is not just a toyline by itself, it relies on the cartoons. Why did everyone like the Beast Wars toys so much? Because they were not only awesome but also had cool personalities. That is what made them so memorable.

 

I own that rat trap and believe me he isn't a cool toy

I wrote this topic as I was walking out the door. Now that I'm on my lunch break and have slightly more time to think, I'll add something here:

 

I'd really like to reach out to all the people on these boards who are saying "Cybertron/Galaxy Force sucks" "I'm quitting collecting the new line because of Cybertron/Galaxy Force sucking" and ask you guys what you are smoking?

Where are you even reading this? I've heard only a couple of peple say they don't like certain aspects of the new line e.g., "GF Beastformers are meh, but at least the GF Earth vehicles kickass!"

 

The new line has something for everybody, and even if the show has a bad plot, at least the animation will look great. I haven't heard anybody up in arms and ready to leave the fandom over it.

Each Toyline had their ups and downs GF/Cybertron included...

 

In the defense of other toylines:

 

G2 it had more new molds than repaints. It also kept things going just enough to get BW out.

 

BW is a great line starting with the 2nd year toys. And even some 1st year toys rocked a lot. If you don't like Beastformers then that's your choice, but many BW toys were superior to G1,G2,BM, and Armada.

 

RID had some of the best new molds. RID also revived many fans into collecting toys.

 

 

Every toyline has the good, the bad, and the damn ugly. Even GF/Cybertron.

I'll be honest, I've heard of NO ONE saying that GF/Cybertron is the worst line and it is killing their collections or stopping them from collecting. I've not heard this once. I have heard some say "this figures sucks, but this figure rocks".

 

I know I like GF/Cybertron overall, but there are toys in it that'll I'll never touch. And those same toys I won't touch others will snap them up in a heartbeat.

Anyway, GF sucks. :P

 

 

(actually I don't really believe that. I'm just not interested in it. Toys without a story are generally value-less to me, and I'm not about to start watching anime-formers.)

Usually, Japanese = "EXTREME"... at least EXTREMELY WTF-ish. That's my problem with these shows. They're bland. I miss the RiD days of anime beads of sweat and pratfalling robots. :D

It still happens occasionally in the new shows.

 

A Superlink scene that cracks me up every time is when Demolisher gets shot in the face by Inferno and runs around yelling "OOO! OOO! OOO!" for a couple of minutes.

watch the preview of other vouces part 2 ( alot of stuff is happening really quickly then you just see taranchulas running past on fire and screaming for 2 seconds, i was roffling for half an hour after that
