I didn't really beleive it for a second, the thing was his "girlfriend" was standing there backing up every inch of his story. I've NEVER heard of such a Unicron in existence. think about it; If Hasbro and Takara made such a bad prototype of the toy in the 1980's that they scrapped the idea of making a Unicron until almost 20 years later, why would they even THINK they could make such a Unicron as your "friend" described? (f The term "friend "being used very loosely.)
