Should have been an Imprezza! It would have saved them money and we would be happy. Ill get the new mold anyways, Im liking it,not loving it. If they made a repaint of the Imprezza I would buy one. Maybe e hobby should be repainting the Bt's.

I would have loved the US to get a PROWL as the WRC STI GT version of the car. It would have been nice to have this GT bodytype on American shores. I have the SMOKESCREEN gt veresion and just love him. Think it would look just so brollik with PROWL'S colors. Not to say that seeing him an an Accura isn't growing on me because I do like the mold and every time I see PROWL he just keeps looking like the seasoned veteran to me (leader like) but I would like to have seen him as a WRX. I only hope that HAS/TAK will do more work on his arms as I think they could use a little more of a display of power. When he does come to us I hope that a GT version is made in NYPD colors though. :tftongue

i prefer the accuracy of the real sti police car to something i know plenty of cars can out run. (k20 vtec FF and for pete's sake an acura gone police car? maybe not in the US) maybe its the traffic division lol. (sti's flat 4 awd and turbo will eat up the honda for breakfast.. on and offroad lol)

i like the new mold i wish it wasn't prowl. i've said this before but thats how alt sideswipe should have been designed (with the transformation sequence of the rsx)

 

and im still buying the toy. (i didn't say i didn't like it what im saying is here are my preferances :tftongue i cant wait for the decipticlone of this mold)

I appreciate the attempt at a new mold, but Prowl looks like crap compared to the earlier successes of this line. Even though it may have been a better fit for Sideswipe, the mold still needs to be fine tuned. It doesn't matter whose head HasTak puts on this mold, it looks bad.

 

My vote goes for WRX mold.

Shoulda been the WRX mold, and for a purely non-fanboy reason. The Acura should have been used for Smokes and Streak, since they are racing/performance cars and the bodystyle of the RSX just says that moreso than the WRX. I know how fast it is, I know how well it handles and blah blah blah. But a 4-door sedan with muscle has 2 logical places to go, IMHO: Emergency vehicle, or upscale luxury sedan.

 

The WRX shoulda been Prowl first, and Red alert for the repaint, period. Assuming there's no 350Z on the way, the Acura wouldve fit Smokes and Streak perfectly. The way it is now, you have some reverse version of common sense with the current use of the molds.

I would've loved Prowl as the WRX, not because I'm a G1 fan, just because that Prowl's robot mode is so friggin goofy looking. I had considered asking one of the distinguished kitbashers on the board how much it would cost me to have them kb Streak or Meister into Prowl,(has to be Streak, haven't seen Meister since I got mine). IMO, the Wrx mold suits Prowl better just cause it has 4 doors. And it should be the same as the other two. :tfevil

2. if they can use older models like the vette they can use the 02 gt r34 skyline
