I would've accepted it, simply because that's how it was in G1. I'm glad we're getting a new mold tho, even if the general design should have gone to Sideswipe. :tfmad

I don't really care about the car, I just what them to have the exact transformation.

I'm tired of the Impreza mold too, but... I'm a GeeWun whore. I'd prefer him as an Japanese police force STi. Make the Acura into another character. Then retire the Subaru for a good long while.

 

Why do I get the funny feeling if we ever do get Sunstreaker he won't be Yellow Dead End? Although if they make a Viper with a different transformation that'd be even better. Saves the mold re-use for the obligatory Red alert. :)

I always liked Alt Prowl, for several reasons. One of the primary ones is that I don't believe that HasTak being cheesy and selling repaints as "new characters" back in the day means that it was a cool idea. It kills me the things that have become "canon" over the years. And I don't want three Alternator Autobots that have the same mold. I just don't.

 

That aside, I think Hasbro should have released Red alert first (you know it's coming - just look at that mold). That way the GeeWun'ers could have their Red alert, and they'd slowly start to guess that he would be repainted as Prowl. It would have eased the pain for a lot of fans. (Not that I personally give a crap about that. :P)

Yeah, for me it's even more the fact that the Acuranator looks like crap, so far. Maybe when they don't pose him like he's dancing the jig, he'll look a little more interesting. I dunno.
