The metallic purple is really growing on me.  Mind you, for my own tastes I think it will be hard to beat the Black Zarak job.

you could make the head from a minicon and turn him into a  headmaster.

That would be Awesome!!  Might be able to do something with E. Omega Supremes head.

That's a terrific paint job tornados!!  Very clean and I like the colors!  Can't wait to see him finished.

what's the head like, does it break in 2 halves. you could cut the face from the front part, glue the 2 helmet pieces together, find a minibot that can make a square that will fit inside the helmet, and then glue the face to the minibot. cake!

thanks for the constructive feedbacks!

firstly, if i paint the tracks black, then the green will not stand out.. it'll be more of a purple black scorpy then a G1 scorpy.. that's what i think...

for the headmaster, I don't think any minicon is small enough for the head. The head is very small and is juz joint by 2 halves. Furthermore I'm zero knowledge about sculpting or kitbashing so quite difficult...

I'm glad u folks like the purple and the green!  :tfgrin

Now i've juz painted the head white for colors to be added (any suggestion?)

tail also juz started adding a base black so that it'll be purple when it comes out.

Hopefully will be done before I go for my church camp next week.  :roll

Gah..  I've got a second e-Scorpy comin', and now I don't know whether to make it Black Zarak or G1. :eek

That purple and green looks MIGHTY fine! What brand(s) and colors are they?

i think u wouldn't believe it... it's from normal spray cans... brand is NIPPON.

colors are pearl purple and pearl green

:tfgrin

glad dat u like the two colors... it looks more fierce than G1 scorpy rite?

That looks awesome!!

If you are still considering colors for the head, here is what I would recommend.  But it's just me.  Purple outer head (like the red parts in your Black Zarak repaint).  And gold inner face (something close to the energon weapons would be nice).

Do you have any pics of the dismanteled bot pre paint. I want to see what I'd have to deal with if I would want to make a custom Scorp of my own.
